David Murphy, MD, performed foot surgery on Davis Love III, and the golf champion will be sidelined for the next two months, according to GolfChannel.com.
According to Dr. Murphy, foot issues are common for golfers who spend a lot of time on their feet.
"It was actually a series of traumatic events, 20 miles [walking] every week on Tour, that caused this," Dr. Murphy told GolfChannel.com.
