Anette Zaharoff, MD, of The Non-Surgical Center of Texas in San Antonio, has been selected to join an international team of physicians treating athletes and fans at the 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea, reports the San Antonio Business Journal.

1. Dr. Zaharoff was invited by Ro Wook Park, MD, PhD, physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist at Sae Yonsei Hospital in Seoul.
2. Dr. Zaharoff serves on a board that trains physicians in the latest prolotherapy techniques.
3. Dr. Zaharoff was a previous professional tennis player in the Women's Tennis Association.
4. After receiving her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Michigan, Dr. Zaharoff completed her residency and a sports medicine fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.
