When the Kane County Cougars, the Chicago Cubs' Single-A ball affiliate, take the field next year it will be at the newly minted Northwestern Medical Field in Geneva, Ill.
Here's what you should know.
1. Northwestern Medicine entered into a multi-year partnership with the Cougars.
2. During this time, the field will bear the Northwestern Medicine name and the health system will have the opportunity to connect with the Kane County community.
3. The health system will also sponsor several promotional nights and giveaways as well as several health and wellness events.
