Neal ElAttrache, MD, of Kerlan Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles, performed surgery on Minnesota Timberwolves guard Zach LaVine's torn ACL on Tuesday, according to Fox Sports.
Here are three things to know:
1. Mr. LaVine sustained the injury during a Feb. 3 game and is expected to miss the remainder of the season.
2. Dr. ElAttrache performed the surgery on Mr. LaVine's left knee in Los Angeles.
3. Dr. ElAttrache has previously operated on former Los Angeles Lakers star guard Kobe Bryant and Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Zach Greinke.
