Brad Nelson, MD, of Maple Grove, Minn.-based TRIA Orthopaedic Center performed surgery on Minnesota Wild defenseman Christian Folin, according to Inforum.
Here are five things to know:
1. The surgery, which repaired a labral tear in Mr. Folin's right shoulder, took place on Mon., May 1.
2. Dr. Nelson performed the surgery at TRIA Orthopaedic Center.
3. Mr. Frolin is expected to make a full recovery and return in time for training camp in September.
4. Mr. Frolin was initially injured during a game on March 5.
5. The Swedish defenseman sat out for three weeks before returning to play in seven games.
