Dr. Neal ElAttrache repairs left shoulder of Utah Jazz's Danté Exum: 4 notes

Neal ElAttrache, MD, performed shoulder surgery on Utah Jazz guard Danté Exum, according to the NBA.

Here are four notes:

 

1. Dr. ElAttrache performed the surgery to stabilize the acromioclavicular joint in Mr. Exum's left shoulder.

 

2. Mr. Exum returned to Salt Lake City to begin rehabilitation; however, the guard will remain out indefinitely.

 

3. Dr. Neal ElAttrache is an orthopedic surgeon at Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles. He is a member of the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic board of directors, chairman of the board of the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Foundation and program director of Kerlan-Jobe Fellowship.

 

4. Additionally, Dr. ElAttrache is the head team physician for the Los Angeles Dodgers and Los Angeles Rams. He is also an orthopedic consultant to the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Kings, Anaheim Ducks and the PGA Tour.
