Dr. Bob Anderson operates on Seahawks' cornerback Richard Sherman's ankle – Sidelined 6 to 8 months

Bob Anderson, MD, performed surgery on Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman following an injury he suffered Nov. 9, according to The Seattle Times.

1. Dr. Anderson repaired Mr. Sherman's ruptured Achilles tendon. The cornerback is expected to return in six to eight months.

 

2. Dr. Anderson is an orthopedic surgery specializing in foot and ankle surgery at the soon to be open Bellin Health Titletown Sports Medicine and Orthopedics in Green Bay, Wis.

 

3. Dr. Anderson is the team physician for the Green Bay Packers. He has also operated on players like Derek Jeter, Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry and Cam Newton.
