Here are 20 new sports medicine centers opened, announced or breaking ground in 2018 so far.

Dallas-based Baylor Scott & White, the Dallas Cowboys and the Frisco (Texas) Independent School District collaborated to open the Baylor Scott & White Sports Therapy & Research Center at The Star in Frisco.

The University of Alabama at Birmingham Highlands Hospital opened a sports medicine clinic.

Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Novant Health opened Novant Health Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in Greensboro, N.C.

Dallas-based Children's Health opened the Specialty Center 2 on its Plano, Texas, campus.

The Orthopedic Sports Medicine Center of Atlanta opened a new location in Sandy Springs, Ga.

The Los Angeles Lakers and UC Los Angeles Health opened the UCLA Health Training Center.

Indianapolis-based Methodist Sports Medicine opened a new clinic in Tipton, Ind.

Sporting Kansas City (Mo.) and The Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Mo., collaborated to open the Children's Mercy Sports Medicine Center in Kansas City, Mo.

Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center opened Wake Forest Baptist Health Sports Medicine in Greensboro, N.C.

The Minnesota Vikings and Minneapolis-based Twin Cities Orthopedics opened the Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center in Eagan, Minn.

Spartanburg, S.C.-based Regional Healthcare System opened a new Sports Medicine Institute in in Spartanburg.

The Great Lakes Sports Medicine & Life Performance Institute opened in Marquette, Mich.

Frisco, Texas-based Star Orthopedics and Sports Medicine opened.

Nephi, Utah-based Central Valley Medical Center cut the ribbon on a new orthopedic and sports medicine clinic.

Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato, Minn., unveiled its new orthopedic and sports medicine clinic.

The Detroit Medical Center will open a $65 million sports medicine center next to Little Caesars Arena in 2020.

Columbia, Md.-based MedStar Health will provide sports medicine and physical therapy services at Springfield, Va.-based The St. James' new 450,000-square-foot sports and wellness complex.

Developer Cedar Fair broke ground on the Lee C. Jewett Sports Medicine Center at the Cedar Point Sports Center in Sandusky, Ohio.
