1. Mr. McNeil had a broken right distal ulnar fracture. Dr. Helfet repaired it Oct. 2.
2. Dr. Helfet is an orthopedic surgeon at New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery.
3. Dr. Helfet also serves as director emeritus of the orthopedic trauma service department at both Hospital for Special Surgery and New York City-based NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.
