Andrew Dossett, MD, performed back surgery on New York Yankees left-handed pitcher James Paxton on Feb. 5, the team reported.

1. The Yankees believe Mr. Paxton will need three to four months to recover from the procedure.
2. Dr. Dossett is a spine surgeon at The Carrell Clinic in Dallas.
3. He is a member of the NFL Team Physicians and MLB Team Physicians. He's served as a spine consultant for the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers and Dallas Stars.
