Timothy Kremchek, MD, repaired a partially torn medial meniscus in the left knee of Cleveland Indians ace Mike Clevinger, The Athletic reports.

1. Mr. Clevinger was diagnosed with the injury Feb. 13.
2. The team expects he'll be out six to eight weeks as he recovers.
3. Dr. Kremchek is an orthopedic surgeon at Beacon Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine in Cincinnati. He is the team medical director for the Cincinnati Reds and an orthopedic consultant for the NFL.
