Travis Roth, MD, joined Andrews Institute Aug. 18, continuing the legacy of the late Charles Roth, MD, who was an integral force behind establishing the Gulf Breeze, Fla.-based practice.
James Andrews, MD, recruited Dr. Charles Roth to Andrews Institute before it opened in 2007. Dr. Roth died from pancreatic cancer Feb. 5.
Dr. Travis Roth often assisted his father while he was a high schooler. He split his time between working at an area bait store and watching his father practice medicine. He said his father "was very humbled" to work at Andrews Institute, adding, "He always said it was one of the best decisions he made for his career."
Dr. Travis Roth is an orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist. He'll see patients at Andrews' main campus and at the Andrews' satellite location at Baptist Medical Park-Nine Mile in Pensacola, Fla.
