Orthopedic surgeon Brian Cole, MD, operated on the knee of Portland Trail Blazers forward Joe Ingles' Feb. 23, the NBA said.
The procedure, an anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction on Mr. Ingles' left knee, was done at a Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush's location in Munster, Ind. Mr. Ingles tweeted after the surgery that he was looking forward to rehab and recovery.
Mr. Ingles injured his knee during a Jan. 31 game against the Utah Jazz, according to an ESPN report.
