Dr. Craig Mintzer operates on Orlando Pride goalkeeper

Craig Mintzer, MD, operated on Orlando Pride goalkeeper Erin McLeod, the team said April 5.

Ms. McLeod had an arthroscopic procedure on her right knee, the team said. She is expected to miss four to six weeks in recovery.

Dr. Mintzer is Orlando Pride's chief medical officer and head orthopedic surgeon at Orlando (Fla.) Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute.
