Keith Meister, MD, operated on Minnesota Twins pitcher Chris Paddack, the team said May 18.
Dr. Meister performed Tommy John surgery on Mr. Paddack's right elbow. It was the second reconstructive surgery the pitcher had on his elbow since 2016.
Mr. Paddack had dealt with elbow inflammation since early May. He is expected to be sidelined into the middle of the next season.
