Dr. Neal ElAttrache to operate on Miami Marlins' Max Meyer

Neal ElAttrache, MD, is scheduled to operate on right-handed pitcher Max Meyer of the Miami Marlins, ESPN reported July 28.

Mr. Meyer underwent an MRI revealing an injury, and he is expected to have Tommy John surgery. No date was set for the procedure, but he will be treated in Los Angeles, where Dr. ElAttrache practices at the Cedars-Sinai Kerlan-Jobe Institute.

Mr. Meyer was removed from a game July 23 in the first inning and was placed on the team's injured list.
