Alphatec launches new titanium ALIF device

Surface Technology

Alphatec commercially released its IdentiTi Large Window Porous Titanium Interbody Implant System for anterior lumbar interbody fusion procedures.

Three insights:

1. This is the fourth of six IdentiTi implant systems Alphatec plans to commercially introduce this year.

2. The IdenTiti line is developed using a subtractive process which produces more predictable performances, consistent bone-like porosity and improved imaging characteristics.

3. Its pore structure is developed to generate surface roughness that improves the immediate implant stability and promotes surface adhesion.

"With this fifth of 12 new product releases expected for 2019, ATEC is on track to fulfill its aggressive new product development and commercialization program. The innovation we are introducing is increasingly being adopted by discriminating spine surgeons," said Pat Miles, Chairman and CEO.
