Medical device company CoreLink Surgical launched its Lateral Access System and two implant systems — the F3D and CL5 Lateral interbody fusion devices — designed for lateral fusions, reports Business Wire.
Four things to know:
1. The F3D Lateral implant uses CoreLink uses 3D printing and finishing methods to develop the Mimetic Metal technology, which has a trabecula structure with interconnected 500-micron pores.
2. The implant is fused with StrutSure, a directional lattice in the body of the implant that provides a balance between biomechanical performance and imaging characteristics.
3. The CL5 Lateral implant is the latest generation of PEEK interbody fusion devices, which features large graft windows, anatomical shape and a wide range of sizes.
4. CoreLink's Lateral Access System features a range of tissue retractor options and specialized surgical instruments for lumbar disc preparation via the lateral approach.
CoreLink will be exhibiting the Lateral Access System and the F3D interbody platform at the 17th Annual Becker’s Future of Spine Conference in Chicago, June 13-15.
