Nanovis launched its bioceramic nanotube enhanced FortiCore interbodies.
Four things to know:
1. The FortiCore interbodies feature a bioceramic titanium nanotube surface.
2. Nanovis' nanotube fixation technology is designed to reduce pain caused by implant loosening.
3. The nanotubes are applied to a porous titanium scaffold with a PEEK core for desired modulus and plain X-ray visualization.
4. CEO Matt Hedrick is encouraged by the launch and said Nanovis plans "to apply our nanotube surface to our entire portfolio of spinal implants" to combat fixation challenges.
