Assure Holdings Corp., welcomed Christopher Rumana, MD, to its board of directors, effective Dec. 19.
Here are five details:
1. A board-certified neurosurgeon, Dr. Rumana brings more than 20 years of medical field experience to the board.
2. Previously, Dr. Rumana served as president of the Tallahassee (Fla.) Neurological Clinic, spurring substantial growth.
3. Dr. Rumana also serves as a board member for the Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, where he currently sits as chairman of the board.
4. After earning his medical degree from Chicago-based Northwestern University Medical School, Dr. Rumana completed his residency at Houston-based Baylor College of Medicine.
5. Dr. Rumana is Assure's fifth board member and the third serving independently.
