IncludeHealth, a digital health and wellness company, earned the AFWERX Phase 1 SBIR grant from the U.S. Department of Defense and Air Force.
Here are three observations:
1. The grant applies IncludeHealth's digital health platform to developing and standardizing fitness protocols for war fighters. The company's cloud-based platform will be installed in the Air Force Research Laboratory's Signature Tracking for Optimized Nutrition and Training lab.
2. The phase 1 study will extend two months and feature 40 war fighters. After completion, phase 2 and 3 are slated to expand by adding instillations across the Air Force network.
3. By leveraging IncludeHealth's instrumented, medical-grade platform, the phase 1 grant will develop personalized protocols based on the resulting data. IncludeHealth has a HIPAA-compliant cloud infrastructure to autonomously deliver the protocols and data.
