Orthobiologics company Cerapedics is expanding its Denver headquarters to maximize control of its value chain by relocating Colorado-based distribution, reports Biospace.
Three things to know:
1. Cerapedics grew from 16 to 44 employees in Colorado over the last 18 months and plans to expand its facility from 14,000 to 24,000 square feet.
2. The company's global workforce is also expanding from 32 to 73 employees.
3. Cerapedics commercialized i-Factor in 2016, which is a drug device that accelerates new bone formation in patients with degenerative disc disease.
"We now have the potential to double our headcount across key administrative, operational and sales support departments to meet the growing demand for i-Factor Peptide Enhanced Bone Graft and drive the business for years to come," said Glen Kashuba, CEO of Cerapedics.
