Spinal device manufacturer CoreLink received FDA 510(k) clearance for its F3D-C2 standalone cervical spine system June 30.
Three things to know:
1. F3D-C2 comprises a spacer with two bone screw anchors secured by a locking mechanism within the cage.
2. The implant is designed with 3D-printed Mimetic Metal technology, which emulates the characteristics of bone to promote growth.
3. The device aims to facilitate the speed and efficiency of anterior cervical discectomy and fusions.
