Kankakee, Ill.-based Riverside Healthcare welcomed orthopedic surgeon Jessica Shin, MD, to its Riverside Orthopedic Specialists clinic in Bourbonnais, Ill.
Here are three things to know:
1. Dr. Shin is board-eligible for certification.
2. She is a member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
3. After earning her medical degree from Iowa City-based University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine, Dr. Shin completed her residency at University of Minnesota Medical School in Indianapolis. She then underwent fellowship training in orthopedic surgery sports medicine at Salt Lake City-based University of Utah School of Medicine.
