Dallas Stars center Tyler Seguin is expected to be away from play for four to six months following surgery to repair issues to his left side hip labrum and a femoral acetabular impingement, according to a Dec. 4 report from Sports Illustrated.
Mr. Seguin will undergo the procedure Dec. 5 at New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery, according to a Dec. 4 statement from the Stars general manager.
The procedure will be performed by Bryan Kelly, MD, president, CEO and surgeon-in-chief emeritus of the Sports Medicine Institute for HSS.
