Becker's reported on five practices and hospitals adding to their spine and orthopedic robotics programs in January:

1. New Castle, Ind.-based Henry Community Health is offering joint replacement procedures utilizing the Mako Smart Robotics system.
2. Ozark, Mo.-based Mercy Orthopedic Hospital added a Velys robotic system for knee replacements.
3. Montrose (Colo.) Regional Health added the ExcelsiusGPS and Excelsius3D systems for spine surgery.
4. Fisherville, Va.-based Augusta Health has added Zimmer Biomet's Rosa knee system for joint replacements.
5. Hickory, N.C.-based Frye Regional Medical Center marked its first robot-assisted minimally invasive spine surgery.
