Amedica appointed Anan Natarajan vice president of business development.
Mr. Natarajan is responsible for expanding Amedica's strategic alliances and business developments through original equipment manufacturer and private labeling partnerships. He has more than 20 years of experience in strategic marketing and business development for commercializing orthopedic and surgical device innovations.
He previously served as managing partner at N2 Business Development Group and served in senior marketing roles with the acquired divisions of DePuy Synthes.

This news comes shortly after Amedica released its Valeo II, made of micro composite silicon nitride biomaterial to enhance osteointegration for transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion.
