WishBone seeks to tap into the pediatric orthopedic market and recently hired former Congressman Marlin Stutzman as president, according to Ink Free News.
Here are four things to know:
1. Mr. Stutzman served as a congressman from Indiana's third district before leaving his seat to run in the state's Republican Primary for U.S. Senate in 2016.
2. WishBone CEO Nick Deeter also founded OrthoPediatrics Corp. in 2006. Both companies are based in Warsaw, Ind.
3. Much like OrthoPediatrics, WishBone strives to meet the needs of pediatric orthopedic patients.
4. Some of the products WishBone is developing for children are implants that correct long bone deformities, sports-related injuries, foot and ankle deformities, trauma, spinal and thoracic deformities, biologics and preventative body armor.
