Medtronic hired Gregory Zimprich to serve as the director of finance communications, according to PR Week.
Here are four things to know:
1. Mr. Zimprich will join Medtronic Feb. 19 to oversee the company's finance communications.
2. Prior to joining Medtronic, Mr. Zimprich spent three years leading global business communications for Honeywell's home and building technologies group.
3. Mr. Zimprich also has experience working in strategic communications for Honeywell's automation and control solutions business and spent time as senior vice president for Kohnstamm Communications and director of brand PR for General Mills.
4. Over the past two months, Mr. Zimprich has supported his former team at Honeywell as the company spins off the homes division, which is expected to become a separate business by the close of the year.
