K2M launched its Yukon OCT Spinal System at the 34th American Association of Neurological Surgeons Annual Meeting March 14 to March 17 in Orlando, Fla.
Here are five things to know:
1. The spinal system is designed to help surgeons restore cervical sagittal balance through posterior fixation. It features a new top-loading polyaxial screw with high angulation.
2. Yukon OCT Spinal System's instruments allow for intraoperative flexibility and ease of use. The Pistol Grip Rod Reducer provides up to 20 millimeters of reduction, and the Sequential Reducer provides up to
15 millimeters of reduction and correction.
3. K2M designed the system's screws to provide 60 degrees of angulation for 60 degrees of coronal swing to aid in screw placement, providing up to 105 degrees of polyaxial angulation.
4. Additionally, K2M showcased its Balance ASC, a comprehensive platform that applies 3-D solutions across the entire clinical care continuum.
