Stryker and Amsterdam (Netherlands) University Medical Center opened a new high-technology training facility for medical professionals in Amsterdam, according to Invest in Holland.
Five details:
1. The Amsterdam Skills Center aims to offer a faster and more effective training approach for medical professionals using digital resources.
2. The center's digital resources include virtual reality training with haptic feedback, tele-mentoring and artificial intelligence-powered imaging.
3. With a state-of-the-art operating theater complete with 12 operating tables, the facility also features surgical robots, VR simulators and video animations of interventions.
4. In addition to Stryker, the center is also partnered with Digital Surgery, MOOG and Incision.
5. The facility is available to educational institutions worldwide.
