Spinal implant developer RTI Surgical on May 26 announced Stuart Simpson joined its board of directors, EIN News reports.
Mr. Simpson held several executive leadership positions at Stryker during his 23-year tenure with the spinal device company.
Most recently, he served as president of Stryker's joint replacement division.
Mr. Simpson also operated as vice president and general manager of the company's global knee and Mako business unit, leading the development of Stryker's robot for orthopedic surgery.
He also serves as an independent director of Breg, a company that provides orthopedic and sports medicine products and services.
