Life Spine's ProLift micro expandable spacer system for spine surgery was cleared by the FDA, according to an Oct. 12 news release.
The spacer is designed for microinvasive procedures ranging from endoscopic surgery to minimally invasive transforaminal lumbar interbody fusions.
"ProLift micro is designed for a fully percutaneous fusion via an endoscopic approach," Life Spine COO Rich Mueller said in a news release. "The procedure, which is being developed for next year, consists of fully integrated augmented reality and 3D imaging."
The device is the company’s 14th expandable interbody device.
