PathKeeper Surgical Announces First Strategic Alliance and Sale with BoxSPINE

Spinal Tech

Tulsa, OK – PathKeeper Surgical announces its first U.S. partnership sale through a strategic agreement with BoxSPINE, for the ambulatory surgery center (ASC) market.

The partnership introduces PathKeeper's spinal navigation system designed to meet the specific  clinical needs for the ASC. The system employs advanced technologies, including artificial  intelligence and 3D optical navigation, aiming to deliver cost savings, efficiency, and improved  clinical outcomes.

Designed to streamline workflow, it eliminates the need for intraoperative CT scans, making  procedures both efficient and radiation-free.

The system independently tracks surgical tools and registers patient anatomy with sub millimetric accuracy, ensuring precise device positioning and implantation.

As ASCs face unique challenges, the PathKeeper system addresses these concerns and enables  surgeons to work in the ASC with cutting edge technology that potentially outperforms current systems utilized in their hospital setting.

Erez Lampert, CEO of PathKeeper Surgical, stated, "Our partnership with BoxSPINE is a significant milestone, showcasing our commitment to innovation in spinal surgery. The  PathKeeper system is set to transform surgical procedures, providing unparalleled accuracy and  improving patient outcomes in the ASCs, as well as in hospitals for more complex deformity  procedures”.

Key features of PathKeeper include:

  • Registration and tool tracking accuracy less than 1 millimeter
  • Compatibility with various surgical tools and implant brands
  • Compact & mobile design
  • Cost effective

Under the BoxSPINE agreement, BoxSPINE will support sales, service, and distribution  activities for PathKeeper Surgical in select key ASC locations.

Leaders from both organizations will present more details about their partnership in a featured session at the upcoming 21st Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC conference, June 20th

Richard Cranford, CEO of BoxSPINE, commented, “The clinical advantages of the PathKeeper navigation system are clear. Additionally, the cost savings for ASCs make it an  attractive acquisition. The Guarantee-Against-Obsolescence software program further enhances value by eliminating costly upgrade fees, ensuring long-term affordability. This partnership  marks a significant step forward in advancing spinal surgery technology for the ASC space.”
