"I have seen and experienced more change in the last two years than in the prior 20 years," says Dr. Errico. "Personally I have become a full-time hospital employee. My compensation is now tied to RVU's rather than surgical fees. Most importantly our partner in changing and improving patient care is no longer primarily the medical device industry but increasingly the hospital group we work with. Dollar is king and cost effectiveness is our new mantra. We work towards 'value' solutions on a continuous basis."
Dr. Errico earned his medical degree at New Jersey Medical School in Newark and completed his orthopedic residency at NYU Medical Center. He has also completed a fellowship in spine surgery at Toronto General Hospital in Canada.
