Spine

The Collaborative Spine Research Foundation was given a grant from Medtronic's Spine business of up to $7 million over three years to fund cross-disciplinary spinal research. Collaborative Spine intends to use the funding to give out competitive, multi-year grants to independent, investigator-driven clinical spine research studies, according to the release. Projects should be one to three years in duration and will be given up to $300,000 per year.

The total amount of the grant will depend on Collaborative Spine's ability to get industry support for its research.
