6 Hospitals Expanding Spine Programs

Gary, Ind.-based Methodist Hospitals is planning new orthopedic and spine care facilities at its Midlake Campus in Gary and its Southlake Campus in Merrillville, Ind.

Billings, Mont.-based St. Vincent Healthcare opened its $8.4 million Orthopedic and Spine Center of Excellence.

Asheville, N.C.-based Mission Health announced it has opened the Mission Spine & Back Pain Center in Clyde, N.C.

Dixie Regional Medical Center opened the Southern Neurosciences Institute in St. George, Utah.

Leigh Valley Health Network agreed to purchase Westfield Hospital in South Whitehall Township, Pa., and intends to convert the hospital into its Center for Orthopedic Medicine.

Yakima (Wash.) Valley Memorial Hospital unveiled new spine surgery technology — the O-Arm device.
