Irving, Texas-based SpineCARE opened a new clinic in Mansfield, Texas.
Douglas Won, MD, founded SpineCARE to provide comprehensive spine services. The practice now includes 10 clinics throughout the Metroplex and is an affiliate of Lumin Health. The practice is also associated with a new surgical hospital in Plano, Texas — Star Medical Center — which focuses on orthopedics and sports medicine care.
"We've had patients come into other clinics from the Mansfield area," said Dr. Won in a news release. "Opening a clinic there will enable us to better serve them and others who live or work nearby."
Services at the new practice location include pain mapping, diagnostics, adult stem cell therapy, surgical procedures, non-surgical treatment, chiropractic care and physical therapy.
Becker's Healthcare recently recognized Dr. Won with the 2014 Spine Surgeon Leadership Award.
