Here are 10 spine surgeons and neurosurgeons joining new practices.

Neurosurgeon Cynthia Zane Africk, MD, joined FirstHealth Neurosurgery in Dayton, Ohio, after more than 20 years of experience in spine.

 

Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond named Alex Valadka, MD, chair of the neurosurgery department. He succeeds Harold F. Young, MD, the founding chair.

 

Lincoln Jimenez, MD, joined Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Fla., with a special interest in vascular neurosurgery and spine surgery.

 

Santa Rosa Medical Group in Milton, Fla., welcomes Todd Prochnow, DO, an orthopedic spine surgeon.

 

Neurosurgeon R.J. Meagher, MD, joined Laser Spine Institute's Philadelphia facility.

 

Atlanta-based OrthoAtlanta welcomed Kevin U. Park, MD, who completed a spine fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.

 

Sacred Heart Health System in Pensacola, Fla., welcomed Charles Wolff, MD, a neurosurgeon who completed a spine surgery fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine.

 

Neurosurgeons Brian McHugh, MD, and Gail Rosseau, MD, joined Woodbridge, Va.-based Inova Medical Group.

 

Khoi Tran, MD, will now see patients at Longview (Wash.) Orthopedic Associates.
