The Expert Network added Alexios G. Carayannopoulos, DO, of Providence-based Rhode Island Hospital.

2. He is also a neurosurgery assistant professor at Providence, R.I.-based Brown University Medical School, and founder and CEO of Boston-based Pain Spine and Rehabilitation Consulting.
3. Dr. Carayannopoulos serves as the principal investigator on various research projects focused on spinal function restoration technology.
4. He researches stem cell application, spinal cord stimulation and minimally invasive technologies.
5. Dr. Carayannopoulos serves on various medical society committees and on the editorial boards of several pain and rehabilitation journals.
6. He completed his fellowship at Dartmouth Medical School and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H. Dr. Carayannopoulos also earned a Masters of Public Health from Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins University.
