The American Association of Neurological Surgeons honored these four surgeons with the following awards.
1. AANS Humanitarian Award: Jack Rock, MD, of Henry Ford Health System in Detroit
2. AANS Crushing Award for Technical Excellence and Innovation in Neurosurgery: John Adler Jr., MD, of Stanford (Calif.) Health Care
3. AANS Distinguished Service Award: Robert Harbaugh, MD, of Penn State Health in Hershey, Pa.
4. AANS Cushing Medal: James Bean, MD, of Baptist Health Lexington (Ky.)
Awards will be presented at the organization's annual meeting April 28 to May 2 in New Orleans.
