1. The artificial disc addresses chronic lower back pain caused by degenerative disc disease.
2. Dr. Grossman performed the procedure in May.
3. He said his patient was standing the same day of surgery, reporting her old pain was completely gone.
4. Dr. Grossman believes CMD was the first center in New Jersey to use the disc.
