Kentucky spine surgeon Dr. Clint Hill dies in personal plane crash

Orthopedic spine surgeon Clint Hill, MD, died in a plane crash on Oct. 31, reports WCYB.

Dr. Hill was 49 years old and the only person aboard the plane that crashed near the Barkley Regional Airport in West Paducah, Ky.

He practiced at The Orthopaedic Institute in Paducah, Ky., for more than 10 years.

Dr. Hill graduated from East Tennessee State University Quillen College of Medicine in Johnson City. 

Following medical school, he completed an orthopedic surgery residency and a spine fellowship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
