Neurosurgeon Peter Rasmussen, MD, was appointed to the advisory board of Centerline Biomedical on May 22.
Three things to know:
1. Dr. Rasmussen will help guide future applications of the company's Intra-Operative Positioning System.
2. The IOPS platform aims to enhance visualization of interventional devices and improve safety by minimizing the need for fluoroscopy and the use of contrast dyes.
3. Dr. Rasmussen, past president of the Society of Neurointerventional Surgery, has practiced with Cleveland Clinic for 21 years.
