Spine surgeon Adam Bruggeman, MD, on Oct. 28 was named CMO of MpowerHealth and will serve on the advisory board of the value-based care-focused company.
Dr. Bruggeman will help boost MpowerHealth's clinically integrated physician network solutions and value-added clinical services.
He operates Texas Spine Care Center, a private practice in San Antonio, and is founder of NuHope, an outpatient center specializing in pain management and treatment of opioid dependency.
Through NuHope, Dr. Bruggeman has advocated for change in state and federal policies that will result in better treatment for individuals involved in opioid use, misuse, abuse and dependency.
He has a master's degree in hospital administration from Trinity University in San Antonio.
