Sigurd Berven, MD, became the second spine surgeon to join Aclarion as a surgeon adviser in October.
Dr. Berven will advise the medical equipment manufacturer on Nociscan, a SaaS platform that facilitates diagnoses of the spine, according to an Oct. 24 company news release. He is chief of the spine service at the University of California at San Francisco.
Earlier this year, Aclarion added John Keller, MD, as another surgeon adviser.
