Spine surgeon Ken Hansraj, MD, developed a meditation program aimed at improving spine health.
Lift: Meditations to Boost Back Health is a six-part program that guides patients towards relaxation and better awareness of postural forces that can cause back and neck pain, according to a Jan. 27 news release. The program provides techniques to release tension and pain.
"I believe in whole-body wellness, preventative care, and treating the spine as the principal indicator of general health," Dr. Hansraj said in the release. "As part of a holistic approach, I recommend meditation to my patients as a supplemental therapy."
The program is available on platforms including Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon.
