Princeton (N.J.) Brain, Spine and Sports Medicine is transitioning to eClinicalWorks' new electronic health records system, eClinicalWorks Cloud EHR.
Princeton Brain has been with eClinicalWorks since 2010 and is now transitioning to the cloud to eliminate extra IT costs, database backups and server maintenance, according to a May 16 press release.
The new cloud-based software includes scheduled maintenance windows, automated data backups, and allows for remote access to the platform as well as scalability and adaptability.
"We were hesitant to move to the eClinicalWorks Cloud because of the differences between the cloud and server versions. Change is not always easy, especially when it’s your EHR, the backbone of our practice. However, it was one of the best decisions we ever made," Lyndsey Gill, Princeton Brain's executive director, said in the release.
