J. Patrick Johnson, MD, joined DISC Sports and Spine Center to launch the practice's Marina del Rey, Calif. surgery center.
Dr. Johnson has been the director for the Institute for Spinal Disorders at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, DISC said in a July 20 news release. During his time at Cedars-Sinai, he trained and mentored more than 160 spine surgeons.
Dr. Johnson will also work as a strategic advisor to DISC's parent company, TriasMD, as the practice opens its new ASC in Marina del Rey, Calif.
