Asheville, N.C.-based Mission Health has welcomed back Carolina Spine and Neurosurgery Center providers and staff, according to an Oct. 15 report from ABC affiliate WLOS.
In January 2022, CSNC was acquired by another healthcare organization, temporarily suspending its Mission Health clinic. During that time, CSNC providers remained active at Mission's hospital, according to the report.
On Oct. 2, CSNC's Mission Health practice reopened in the same location. The practice offers services including spine procedures, nonsurgical treatments and physical therapy.
"We have had a lot of movement in the last several years," Richard Lytle, MD, president and neurosurgeon at Carolina Spine and Neurosurgery Center, said in a news release shared with WLOS. "However, we look forward to having the support of HCA Healthcare and the leadership of Mission Health again as we continue to care for the patients of Western North Carolina."
